Scott Cooper

writer/director, Crazy Heart

I loved having a chance to sit down with Scott Cooper, an actor-turned-director who’s finding huge success his very first time behind the camera with the fantastic film Crazy Heart. He also adapted the screenplay and worked with T-Bone Burnett to create a moving soundtrack, which takes as important a role in the film as the characters.

In my conversation with Scott, he offers up great insight and an inspiring story. And we talk about the character moms will totally relate to. I loved this film – you can read something I’ve written about it here.

btw, i started my new blog at Metro magazine this week…love that publication&psyched to be involved over there.
